If ethernet0\/1 is the interface that should connect to the Radius server, run&#160; set auth-server &quot;IAS Radius Admin&quot; src-interface &quot;ethernet0\/1&quot;<\/p>\n<p>(you cannot mix the \u2018admin\u2019 authentication type with other authentication types, which is why you need a dedicated authentication server in screenOS for this)<\/p>\n<p>Next, on the IAS server, set up a Radius client. You can have a look at <a href=\"\/index.php\/2007\/11\/11\/using-active-directory-and-ias-based-radius-for-netscreen-webauth-authentication\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this post<\/a> in order to find out how to do this. border-top: 0px; display: inline; border-left: 0px; border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"168\" alt=\"image\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/image-thumb8.png\" width=\"328\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>(enter value \u20184\u2019 for read-only accounts)<\/p>\n<p>Save the settings.<\/p>\n<p>Note : If you do not configure a Vendor Specific Attribute to be returned, the default privileges will be used (which is read-only by default, but you can change that to read-write using the command&#160;&#160; <strong>set admin privilege read-write<\/strong>)<\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p>Now set the Juniper to use this Radius server for admin authentication :<\/p>\n<p>set admin auth server \u201cIAS Radius Admin\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s it.&#160;&#160; <\/p>\n<p>Try to log on with a member of the Windows AD group and it should work just fine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/image9.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-right: 0px;
