Happy 5th Birthday Corelan Team
Corelan Team was founded in September of 2009. Over the last few years, the team has written and published numerous tutorials on exploit development. We have created a series of tools and scripts, and worked with vendors/developers across the globe to report vulnerabilities in their applications.

To make it easier for people to reach out, connect to others, ask questions and help answering questions, in a safe and friendly atmosphere, we are operating a forum and an IRC channel (channel #corelan on Freenode IRC). By all means, if you want to hang out, help others, ask questions, please hop on the channel or post questions in our forum. The bigger the crowd, the easier it is to get help.
All of this is done by our dedicated and loyal members, for free, in their spare time. I’m really honored to be part of this team and to consider them good friends.
Of course, I think we all agree that we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without the support of our family either, so a big thank you to my wife is definitely in order as well.
It only takes a tiny bit of math to figure that we are celebrating our 5th birthday this year. Since we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of the Infosec Community, we would like to take this opportunity to give back and let everyone join the party.
As a first token of our appreciation, we wanted to try to collect a series of discount coupons that can be used to buy books or commercial software/products. Although we are big fans of free and open source tools, we can’t deny or ignore the fact that there are excellent commercial tools out there, but may be (just) out of reach in terms of budget for a lot of us. At the same time, it’s also hard to deny that some of these tools are (partially) based on work done by the community, so it would make sense to try to close the gap and bring the community and industry a little closer together again.
We decided to push our luck, used our charm (*cough*) and reached out to more than 20 vendors and publishers. We’re extremely happy and honored to be able to announce that the companies listed below were kind enough to provide us with discount codes that can be used for purchases… starting… right NOW.
We hope that these discounts will make it somewhat easier to get your hands on something that may have been out of reach otherwise.
Of course, all credits go to the companies listed below, supporting this initiative … They are the ones giving out the actual discounts..
THANK YOU so much for your generous offers !
PS : If you (re)tweet a link to this page and include #corelan2014, you’ll automatically enter in a raffle to win a free Dradis Pro Basic subscription, offered by the great folks at Security Roots. We’ll announce the winner on March 10th.

Please keep in mind that number of purchases may be limited, or the use of a particular discount code may be limited in time. Unless mentioned otherwise, discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, and apply to list prices. The entire purchase process is the sole responsibility of the vendors and Corelan Team bears no responsibility whatsoever.
